The Lafayette High School band boosters' MarketPlace, a one-day holiday fair in its 29th year that funds the band program, with more than 160 vendors plus food and books. For anyone thinking of taking a booth: a space is $75 with two chairs, from 6 by 10 to 8 by 10 depending on where it falls, and a table or electric is $10 more each; bring your own extension cords and tape. No garage sale, flea market, surplus or mass-produced resale, and direct sales are held to one vendor per company. Email photos of your work to marketplace@lhs.band with the application, and know that return vendors get preference. Applications are due November 1, and late ones are taken to November 30 for $10 more if there is room. The organizers say it usually sells out. Set-up starts at 6:30 AM, and booths stay open the whole day.
