The first spring craft fair the Seckman High DECA and FBLA students put on, spread across the school's gyms, cafeteria and multipurpose area with around 150 vendors. Handmade and specialty goods: chocolates and candies, woodworking, books by local authors, baked goods, crochet, jewelry, 3D printed items, plants, self-care products, pet items, local honey and make-your-own flower bouquets, alongside household names like Pampered Chef and Scentsy. The students ran the concession stand, and there was a food truck plus kettle corn, flavored coffees and fresh-squeezed lemonade. Free to walk in. What it raises sends the school's 80 or so DECA and FBLA students to academic and leadership competitions, a cost the students' families otherwise carry. Janice House and Lisa Matzker coordinate it.
Run by local vendors who work these shows. We check dates with organizers where we can reach them, and take the rest from show flyers and posted notices, so confirm before you load the car.
