The City of Festus's own yard sale and flea market, held on the parking lot at the ball field complex in Crites Park. It is open to anyone with something to sell, yard salers, crafters and direct sellers alike, and traders take home whatever does not go, so the lot clears at 1 PM. For vendors, the city's own form is unusually specific: a space is $20 and runs about 18 by 19 feet, which is two parking spaces side by side, and you may rent more than one. Set-up is 6 to 7:45 AM, with no vehicles on the asphalt after 7:45. There is no electric, so bring tables, a shade tent, chairs and your own change. No vehicle or weapon sales, though vehicle parts are fine, and food sellers have to meet Jefferson County Health Department rules. Every vendor space for 2026 is taken: the city posted on September 28 that all spaces have been reserved.
