The seventh year of Four Brothers Mead's fall Viking festival on Main Street in Festus, free and open to all ages. Reenactors put on live steel combat and shield wall demonstrations, there are two stages of live music plus fire performances, and food trucks. The meadery pours its regular meads alongside small batches made for the festival. The artisan market runs all day, with blacksmithing, leatherwork, Viking jewelry, hand-forged blades, woodcraft and Norse-inspired art. Come in full Viking kit or everyday clothes. The meadery says the full schedule goes up before the day.
